API Legacy Specifications (commissioned in June 1999, in storage since July of 2002, reconditioned in 2008).

* 64 Input channels (type 768; 550L EQ; 32ea. 212L mic pre)
* 12 Echo Returns type 862
* External jackfield w/ 25ft looms wired for 96 channels multi-track send/return and 500 optional tie-lines
* Patchbay is fitted with EDAC 56 and 90 way connectors
* for access to all external patchpoints
* Patchbays are 26” wide
* There is a steel rack frame that mounts the patchbays; a finish cabinet will be needed for a final installation
* Flying Faders automation (66 faders)
* Wraparound frame (16 channels on each end are at 30 degree angle)
* 2 wood nearfield speaker shelves
* Custom black patent leather armrest
* Black top and end trims (wood)
* DK Audio MSD200F LCD phase scope/PPM/RTA fitted into meter bridge

Technical Features

* 16 M/T busses
* Two Stereo mix busses (each with automated fader)
* 32 channels fitted with 212L mic preamps (+32 Line only with input trim)
* 8 each 225L compressors
* 8 each 235L gates
* 2 each 205L direct (Hi-Z) preamps
* 3 each 215L sweep filters
* 6 aux sends (4 mono +1 stereo)
* Monitor section has main CR out + 2 Alt/mini spkr outputs
* Stereo aux 5/6 bus can be used as “in line” tape return monitor; separate patchrow from Channel Line inputs (switchable)
* 1ea Spare 550L and 768 modules


Modifications

* Inward Connections SPA690 Amp modules fitted to all 212L and 550L EQ’s replacing API 2510’s (Much higher sound quality)
* Inward Connections transformers fitted to all 212L Mic Pre’s
* Inward Connections transformers and SPA690 fitted to Stereo and 8 m/t busses
* Monitor (center) section fitted w/ new caps and discrete amp modules by Audio Upgrades (Jim Williams) to replace 2510’s
* Multi-track meters switchable between Bus O/P and tape return I/P
